Food Stains & Grime
TweetMint’s unique enzyme-formula allows it to break down organic and food stains/spills naturally. The enzymes will target and actually recycle organic compounds into more basic components, allowing for a complete and deeper clean.
After preparing a nice meal, you can spray TweetMint onto stains using a dilution of 1 – 6 tbsp (15 – 90 ml) per 32 oz of water. Stubborn stains like wine or fruit juice, or stains that have sat longer, will need a higher dose (6 tbsp per 32 oz).
Soap Scum & Mildew
Soap scum and mildew can be cleaned away by TweetMint along with a scrub brush or sponge (a nice trick is to use a toothbrush to get into the crevices). Use a dilution of 1 – 6 tbsp (15 – 90 ml) per 32 oz of water and scrub – the agitation will help to activate the enzymes. For older stains, you may need to do a second TweetMint treatment, with each scrubbing taking off another layer.
Drain Cleaner & Opener
TweetMint can unclog and open drains by pouring 1 – 2 oz (30 – 60 ml) of concentrate into them. After 30 minutes, flush the drains with a gallon of boiling water. NOTE: for porcelain, do not use boiling water, instead use hot water to avoid cracking your sink.
Enzyme cleaners take longer to break down & digest blockages, but are much safer for your pipes than acid or chemical cleaners.
TweetMint will also remove any drain flies/gnats, fungus, or cockroaches that reside in drains too!
Fridge Spray & Scrub
Over time your fridge can accumulate accidental spills and develop some strong odors. TweetMint can be safely used to clean out your whole fridge as well as eliminate odor-causing bacteria. It only takes a little bit of TweetMint for a nice, sparkling shine – try using 1 – 2 tsp (5 – 10 ml) per 32 oz of water. After spraying, wipe away the stains and the odors should go way in 30 seconds or less!
Dishes & Hand Soap
TweetMint is a great cleaner for dishes and can be used in three different ways, depending on preference:
- You can use a light dilution of 1 – 2 tsp (5 – 10 ml) in a 32 oz spray bottle of water. Spray dishes liberally, then wipe them clean.
- You can put TweetMint concentrate in a scrubber/brush with a reservoir for soap. Apply small, “dime-sized” amounts of TweetMint onto dishes or directly into a tub of warm water. Scrub the dishes and dry them to clean.
- You can simply wash all your dishes in a tub of soapy TweetMint solution instead. Try using 1 – 2 oz (30 – 60 ml) of TweetMint in the tub for starters, or use more if you like it stronger!
Tired of hand soaps full of synthetic fragrances? Luckily TweetMint can actually replace ordinary hand soaps for a natural & safer option!
We recommend using a mason jar with a hand pump attachment. You can experiment with the desired amount of TweetMint depending on how sudsy or strong you would like the soap to be. A nice dilution is to fill about an eighth or sixth of the jar and fill the rest with water. Give it a good shake to mix and you’re good to go!
Glass, Windows, & Stainless Steel
TweetMint is an amazing all-purpose and all-surface cleaner, due to being versatile & non-corrosive. Glass, windows, and stainless steel all call for the same dilution in regards to a quick clean & shine.
Use the light dilution when cleaning these surfaces, 1 – 2 tsp (5 – 10 ml) per 32 oz. of water.
TweetMint Tip: You may find the above dilution is a little too strong for you, feel free to try out even lighter dilutions, as a little TweetMint goes a long way!
Floors, Rugs, & Hand Towels
Whether your kitchen floor is tile or wood, you can use a dilution of 1 – 2 oz (30 – 60 ml) per gallon of water to mop. You can also simply spray and wipe up the solution in place of mopping.
No need to use chlorine or synthetic detergents for any hand towels or rugs, if they are machine washable, simply use 1 – 2 oz (30 – 60 ml) of TweetMint in a high-efficiency washing machine. You can also add a little borax as a booster for the most stubborn of stains.
If you cannot put the rugs or towels in a washing machine, simply use the same amount in a tub and wash as you would.
Counters & Unwanted Bugs
TweetMint truly is the ultimate all-in-one cleaner. Spraying and wiping a TweetMint solution on your counter does the following 3 things (all at once!):
- Removes any stains all the way down to the microscopic level
- Eliminates any bugs, like ants, on contact
- Removes any odors and the food particles that were attracting the ants in the first place
Try using a dilution of 1 oz (30 ml) per quart of water and this solution will tackle all three tasks!
