Porcelain, Tub & Tile
For sparkling porcelain, tub and tile, use 2 – 4 tsp (7.5 – 15 ml) of TweetMint per 32 oz of water. Spray this solution to remove odors, soap scum, mildew, and other stains. Then use a scrub brush or sponge to remove them, as the agitation actually helps to activate the enzymes in TweetMint.
While cleaning with TweetMint, you may notice that surfaces stay cleaner longer. This is because TweetMint fully cleans & removes stains at the microscopic level and is also non-corrosive, so TweetMint will not corrode porcelain or other surfaces and make new crevices for stains to grow and hide in.
Sinks & Drain Opener
You can use the same dilution above for cleaning porcelain sinks (or any other type of surface too) of 2 – 4 tsp (7.5 – 15 ml) of TweetMint per 32 oz of water. After spraying, simply wipe away any stains or scrub for older, more stubborn stains.
TweetMint can unclog and open drains by pouring 1 – 2 oz (30 – 60 ml) of concentrate into them. After 30 minutes, flush the drains with a gallon of boiling water. NOTE: for porcelain, do not use boiling water, instead use hot water to avoid cracking your sink.
Enzyme cleaners take longer to break down & digest blockages, but are much safer for your pipes than acid or chemical cleaners.
TweetMint will also remove any drain flies/gnats, fungus, or cockroaches that reside in drains too!
Grout Scrub
Grout has a reputation of being notoriously hard to clean, but never fear for TweetMint is here!
There are a couple of options for tackling grout:
- Try using the tile spray dilution of 2 – 4 tsp (7.5 – 15 ml) of TweetMint per 32 oz of water. Then thoroughly scrub to help remove the stains. *TweetMint Tip* a toothbrush is an excellent way to clean grout and can work better than many other types of brushes.
- Wet a toothbrush and put a little TweetMint concentrate on it, you may also want to wet the grout too. Then scrub the grout with the toothbrush to really activate the enzymes.
If you have cleaned grout in the past with bleach or other corrosive cleaners, it may take a few cleanings to fully remove the most stubborn of stains. Give the enzymes time to digest the stains, and a little TweetMint & elbow grease will go a long way!
