Lice R Gone

I left the shampoo on my sons hair for 30 minutes then combed out very well. Got most of the lice out with the first try but did a second treatment a few days later anyway. This product did everything it claimed while also being safe.

We’ve been using Lice R Gone for a few years now. We have three kids, so at least one gets lice every year or so from school or church. This product works wonders. I wash and come everyone’s hair with the shampoo and detangler. If I find any nits or lice, I wash that person’s hair again in about three days. When the school alerts us that some one in their class has lice, I automatically order a new shampoo, so I don’t I have it on hand for the next time. One bottle is enough to wash 5 people’s hair one or twice as needed. It smells wonderful and doesn’t irritate sensitive skin.

This product was used by a professional lice removal person that works with the health department in my area. The product is seriously amazing you do have to leave it on for 10 minutes and they do recommend reusing it in 7 to 10 days. We have gotten rid of our lice every single time using this over the elementary years. Also it's non-toxic and amazing for your hair so we use it proactively and preventively all the time after camp sleepovers or when the school sends home the dreaded letter. Highly recommend it. you do need to still wash your pillowcases, Combs, hats, jackets etc. people that are saying they didn't get rid of it I'm imagining they're not taking care of it in the home. Bag stuff 48hrs, wash stuff in hot water or use the dryer high heat 15mins, also it's critical to make sure to retreat in a week= problem solved!

This shampoo killed the lice and nits and is gentle on the hair. Highly recommend!!!

Unfortunately I have had a lot of experience with head lice! With over the counter products I would have to use live shampoo over and over again. Finally I had a lice expert treat me in my home with this shampoo and it was amazing. No chemicals and worked the first time!! Love this stuff!!

Works good...but pricey

This product is wonderful! It smells amazing and leaves a little tingle sensation on your scalp! Great to keep on hand!

i love this product, we use it weekly as a preventative treatment. i would rate it 5 stars excepte it is really expensive for such a small bottle. with 4 people using it this 68 oz doesnt last long.

This really works! We used it on our daughter and would really lather it up and put it in a shower cap for 30 minutes everyday (just to be safe)until we stopped seeing any. We did this 7 days in a row then we use it once a week. The lice had been resistant to everything we'd used. ALL the harsh chemicals. But this WORKED!

When my daughter came home with lice from summer camp (our second bout with these nasty bugs), I thought I knew exactly what to do. The first time lice came into our lives I bought all the lice shampoos the pharmacy had - they didn't work. Then we did mayonaise and shower caps - limited success. Then we did Listerine, tea tree oil and all the other homeopathic stuff people say they have used to get rid of them - and still had lice. Then I searched the internet and found an enzyme based shampoo that killed the lice and even made the nits fall out without having to pick them out - EUREKA!But this time around when I bought a product by the same name, it wasn't the same stuff (I knew I was in trouble when this time it came with a cap and comb and it smelled different and had a different design on the label) and didn't work. Don't know what happened there because I kept the old bottle just in case so I would know the name of the stuff that worked the first time! So, back to the internet I went and found this shampoo (which is also supposed to use an enzyme to kill the bugs and get rid of the nits). This one worked! We used it the same day it came in the mail and then used it again a couple of days later just to be sure (and then again a couple of days later to be REALLY sure). No more lice. No nit picking. No chemicals. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical at first, but had tried Rid, and several home remedies that didn't work. I was desperate because after battling lice for several weeks with my daughter, myself and the rest of my family got lice! This shampoo actually worked! Our entire family used it every 3 nights for two weeks. After shampooing, I clipped my daughter's hair and covered her head with a shower cap and let her enjoy a hot shower for 20 minutes. Then, she rinsed it out. Then I applied conditioner and started combing. Don't forget to wash all the bed sheets, comforters, towels, etc., once a week. I also vacuumed the couches and carpets once or twice a week. We are now lice free. What started out as a nightmare, is now just a manageable inconvenience.

Good for dog mange and hot spots certainly does the trick and has a pleasant scent great natural product the best.

After several treatments of some of the name brand items, my daughter in-law tried this on her daughter and this was the only one that worked. She recommended it to me when my other granddaughter got lice and my daughter had done several treatments, and I did home remedies a couple times - I ordered some and had delivered to my daughter's house and it worked wonders. My daughter and two granddaughters have different types and lengths of hair. This stuff is amazing. It was so wonderful to see my little granddaughter lice free and no more sores and scratching.
